One name that has been of interest to the Mad Ants is Kyle McAlarney, a guard from Notre Dame. He was not selected in the NBA Draft but will be on the LA Clipper's Summer League team. McAlarney is a player who would fall under the "player of local significance" and would most likely end up as a Mad Ant if he winds up in the NBA D-League. With IU and Purdue not really having any Seniors entering the pro ranks this year, it would be nice to have a Notre Dame grad on the roster.
